1/ The test methods indicated, from FED-STD-191 Textile Test Methods, have been found acceptable to determine if the cloth meets the stated requirements. If the Government requires proof that the cloth meets the stated requirements, the test methods indicated shall be used.
2/ The contractor shall certify that no special optical brightener was used.
3/ Based on dry weight of desized specimen.
1.3 Length and put-up. Unless otherwise specified (see 4.1), the cloth shall be furnished in continuous lengths of not less than 40 yards. The cloth shall be put-up full width on rolls as specified in 3.1.
