CLOTH, FLANNEL, WOOL
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial item Description.
Abstract. This document covers one type of cloth used as a facing for the underside of the collar of uniform coats and overcoats.
Salient characteristics
Design and construction. The cloth shall be manufactured from wool. The cloth may have up to 20 percent nylon. Unless otherwise specified, a certificate shall be submitted and will be acceptable for the stated requirement. The color of the cloth shall be as specified in the contract or purchase order. The cloth shall be a plain weave and shall be evenly sheared and mothproofed with an approved treatment. The cloth shall have a minimum width of 60 inches. The cloth shall weight 10.5 minimum
